VIETNAMESE FRIED/BAKED SPRING ROLLS WITH SHRIMP & PORK
Vietnamese Fried Spring Rolls (Chả Giò) are a beloved comfort food enjoyed at family gatherings, celebrations, and everyday meals throughout Vietnam. Filled with a flavorful mixture of shrimp, pork, vegetables, and vermicelli noodles, these rolls are wrapped in rice paper and cooked until perfectly crisp and golden. This lighter version can be baked or air-fried while still delivering the satisfying crunch and savory flavor that make chả giò so popular. Serve with fresh herbs, lettuce, and a tangy fish sauce dipping sauce for a classic Vietnamese dining experience.
BÒ LÚC LẮC - VIETNAMESE SHAKING BEEF
Bò Lúc Lắc, or Vietnamese Shaking Beef, is a beloved Vietnamese dish featuring tender cubes of beef quickly seared over high heat and tossed with onions, peppers, and a rich savory sauce. Named for the shaking motion used while cooking, this flavorful dish strikes the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and umami flavors. Traditionally served with steamed rice or a simple salad, it's a quick yet impressive meal that brings restaurant-quality Vietnamese cooking into your home kitchen.
FRESH SPRING ROLLS (GỎI CUỐN)
Fresh Spring Rolls (Gỏi Cuốn) are one of Vietnam’s most loved dishes, known for their light, fresh flavors and beautiful presentation. Delicate rice paper wraps are filled with shrimp, rice noodles, crisp vegetables, fragrant herbs, and sweet tropical fruit, creating a perfect balance of texture and flavor in every bite. Traditionally served with a tangy fish sauce or rich peanut-hoisin dipping sauce, these refreshing rolls are ideal for gatherings, appetizers, or a light meal shared around the table.
VIETNAMESE FISH SAUCE CHICKEN WINGS (CÁNH GÀ CHIÊN NƯỚC MẮM)
Vietnamese Fish Sauce Chicken Wings (Cánh Gà Chiên Nước Mắm) are a crowd-favorite street food and family-style dish known for their irresistible balance of crispy, savory, sweet, and garlicky flavors. Double-fried for an extra crunchy texture, these wings are coated in a rich fish sauce glaze that caramelizes beautifully while still allowing the crispiness to shine through. Finished with crispy garlic, fresh herbs, and scallions, they deliver the bold, comforting flavors that make Vietnamese cuisine so memorable.
CHÈ XOÀI BƯỞI TRÂN CHÂU – MANGO POMELO SAGO
Chè Xoài Bưởi Trân Châu, or Mango Pomelo Sago, is a classic Hong Kong dessert that has become a favorite throughout Asia. Made with sweet ripe mango, juicy pomelo, chewy sago pearls, and creamy coconut milk, it's a dessert that's both refreshing and satisfying.
Though it originated in Hong Kong, this tropical dessert is now loved across Southeast Asia and is especially popular during the summer. At Ngon's Kitchen, I love making it with perfectly ripe fruit and serving it well chilled - a simple, vibrant dessert that lets each ingredient shine.
VIETNAMESE CARAMEL FLAN
